For our first ever feedswap, we are delighted to bring you the first episode of Ghosted from the amazing Longcat Media. Perched on a rain-battered cliff edge is a former lighthouse; now a charming, boutique hotel. Owner and sole occupant Beth has spent months renovating, absorbing its essence into her bones, preparing for her first guest to arrive. But when they do, to Beth’s horror, it is a figure from a past she has tried to forget. Keira. Face-to-face for the first time in years, the pair must reckon with old mistakes, old grievances.

And something else. Because the lighthouse has a past too.

She receives a call from Oakleaf Nursing Home, in Wollaton, Nottingham, where her mother, 84-year-old Hilary, has taken a turn for the worse. Hilary’s Care Worker intimates to Vivian that maybe she should pay her mother a visit, sooner rather than later. What Vivian doesn’t know is that Hilary has both something to tell her daughter, something she has kept a secret her entire life, and to ask of her one last request.

. For the third year running, we hosted STAGE FRIGHT to launch the fabulous London Horror Festival. Three plays short listed and performed live to special guest judge Seth Patrick. First up we had Special Delivery by Elizabeth Adlington, which focused on a couple following the delivery of a rather unusual teddy bear. Next came Tears from the Pillow by Gabrielle Wright, a touching yet spine-chilling tale about a man in a coma (we daren’t reveal any more). Finally, Pete Barrett’s Forever Amber told the story of a cantankerous lord with a passion for taxidermy. The award went to Pete Barrett’s FOREVER AMBER, but you can listen to all three productions here.
