James Johnson

James studied drama at Queens University, Belfast, during which he wrote two Edinburgh shows The Audition (Ant & Elephant 2006) and The Importance of Shoes (Weaver Hughes Ensemble). Both Edinburgh shows have subsequently transferred to London.

 

James is currently being comissioned to write his first feature film Pretty Ugly (Powerstone Entertainment) and three short plays have also been produced in Belfast. Rain Falls and Glossina Palpalis (Belfast Twenty Five Project) - the latter of which was performed at The Lyric Theatre. And finally Blister Fast & Loose as part of the 24 hour play project.
